Ride the seven most famous mountain passes in Switzerland.

The Tour starts in Dover where we meet before boarding our early morning ferry to Calais. Once in France we’ll make quick progress to our (half board) transit hotel in Reims, with the opportunity to stop in Cambrai for a late lunch along the way.
After breakfast and a relaxed start Day Two will see us take a journey towards and over the Vosges Mountains. You will the opportunity ride along the D430 ‘Route des Cretes’ and then over the D431 and the wonderful Ballons des Vosges. Alternatively take the more direct t route along the D417 over the Col de la Schlucht to our quality (B&B) overnight hotel in the historic town of Colmar. MSL Tours has stayed here previously so we know how comfortable the hotel and includes underground parking for the bikes. You will then have the opportunity to take a short walk into the historic old town for your evening meal.
We are then perfectly situated for our days ride south into Switzerland on Day Three. Our four star quality (half board) Alpine hotel for the next four nights is located in Grindelwald situated in the Bernese Alps. The Tour hotel has a unique panoramic position with stunning, unobstructed views of the famous Eiger North Face and Wetterhorn mountains from the rear terrace. We know that the hospitality is first rate, the rooms very comfortable and the cuisine extremely good!
In fact our Tour accommodation includes use of the hotels swimming pool, steam bath sauna and Roman bath. With exceptional four course cuisine included in the tour price and a generous buffet breakfast, just what’s required after ‘conquering’ some of Switzerland’s most famous and stunning mountain passes over the next three full ride out days! These iconic routes are located just a short distance away from our tour hotel and include the Grimsel, Furka, St.Gotthard, Nufenen, and Susten. Make no mistake riding these routes in the Swiss Alps will quite literally take your breath away!
After four nights in these truly mountainous surroundings the Tour heads back on Day Seven to our overnight (B&B) hotel in Colmar, with a final night in the Vosges, before we return to Reims and our overnight (half board) transit hotel on Day Eight.
After a relaxed breakfast Day Nine sees us take a leisurely ride back to Calais, to board our late afternoon return ferry back home to Dover. Reflecting on the magnificence and stunning beauty of the Swiss Alps and our incredible riding experiences over some of the best mountain passes in Europe!
